For most bloggers, a hosted blogging platform like Blogger is a good choice, but there is no doubt that their selection of pre-built templates is lacking to say the least. While there are tons of templates out there for the platform, a lot of them are the same thing over and over, barely remembering to change colors. We’ve found 10 that are at least a bit different from the “norm.”

Andreas02 - The popular WordPress theme makes its way to the XML Blogger template crowd. Excellent for blogs with several pages.
Digg - Do you have a burning desire to make your blog look like Digg? This theme turns the normal vote buttons into the dates of your entries and is just a bit of fun. The designer is Turkish, and the download is in his native tongue, but easily understandable.
Dream Light - Artistic and in your face, but maintains readability with ease.
Fly Net 02 - A very business like templae that gives you a 4-column header for information as well as a flash intro - if you want it.
iBlock - Versions of this template are available just for the iPhone/iPod Touch or you can keep the feel for a normal browser if you like. It may seem a bit odd to have a template specifically for the Apple devices, but with 40+ million more iPhones estimated to sell over the next year, sites built just for it are probably the wave of the future.
Night Club - Made for actual nightclubs, but easily changed. Great for music enthusiasts, DJs, party promoters and more. It’s rare to see a black theme for any blogging platform that is actually readable, an this one handles it beautifully.
Nyoba - Nyoba gives you three columns as well as two Google AdSense units in prime locations, with an easy to change heaer image.
Retro Mac OS Theme - Are you ready to kick it old school style with your blog looking like it escaped from a 1980’s Apple? This is your template!
The Girl - Available in multiple colors with different headers, it has very much of a “WordPress feel” to it. If you prefer the convenience of Blogger, this would be a good theme for you to merge the two.
TotuliPink - Pink templates tend to be loud and hard on the retinas, but this one works quite well without making you want to run for the hills.
